Hi, we’re Garry and Rangan and we built Anywhere Auctions because we believe buying property is one of the most important decisions Australians make, and we were tired of letting this decision hinge on the ability to make it to an auction.

You can’t be in two places at once and sometimes life gets in the way of making it to an auction. Previously, without a proxy bidder there at the property, you weren’t able to take part. We’ve changed all that with our fully interactive and intuitive website and app.
With Anywhere Auctions, you are given the ability to register securely, place live bids, execute contracts for sale, communicate with the agent and even negotiate with the vendor if the property is passed in.

Our Beginnings
Founder Garry Giritharan is a seasoned and active property investor. Like many buyers, Garry’s sights are often set on more than one property at the same time.
Traditionally, when auction times have clashed - or even when there has been more than one auction at once - he’s been faced with a dilemma about which auction to attend. With a young family, the commitment to attend auctions across Melbourne every Saturday has felt like a real sacrifice.
Garry’s firsthand experience made him seek out a better way of attending auctions. After all, if he had this problem, surely other buyers and investors did too.
The more Garry thought about it the more he realised the obvious answer was to start streaming auctions online so that people could watch them from anywhere. But that of itself wasn’t enough because it kept the person watching the auction a passive participant, still reliant on someone present to bid on their behalf.
So to create real value, Garry and his business partner Rangan also needed to put buyers in the same position as bidders physically at the auction - giving them the ability to register to bid, make live bids, execute contracts for sale and even negotiate with the vendor if the property passes in.
Anywhere Auctions is what grew from this game-changing concept.
