Bidding on Auction Day – The Bid Portal
The Bid Portal is intuitive and simple to use. From your Bid Portal, you will have access to a live stream of the auction in real time, a bid ladder keeping you up to date with the latest bid data, and your bid entry area where you can enter and send your bids to the auctioneer instantly. A notifications section will also keep you up to date with the status of every bid you place. Through every part of the process, you’re always in control.

A Safe and Secure Bidding Environment
Through our simple registration process, we’ve created a safe and secure environment for all online bidders. The two most powerful security features we have incorporated are:
ID verification
Our highly secure and encrypted system captures your ID details and images and grants access to the vendor’s agent, who will manually verify your details. You’ll feel secure knowing that the real estate agent has vetted anyone else who is bidding alongside you.
We will ask all bidders for the following:
- Government issued photo ID, such as driver's licence or passport
- A profile photo with you holding your ID document next to your face.
Credit/Debit Card Pre-Authorisation
As an added layer of security, we take a credit/debit card pre-authorisation for a nominal amount for all registered bidders to mitigate the risk of any unethical or fraudulent behaviour by online bidders. You can feel safe knowing that no other bidder will use our platform unethically. Credit/Debit card pre-authorisations are released immediately post-auction for all unsuccessful bidders. If you are the winning bidder, the pre-authorisation will be transferred in full to the real estate agent’s trust account to go towards your deposit for your new property.
Registration to bid at an auction will close 1 hour prior to the start of the auction to allow enough time to execute on all security and verification measures. You can take comfort in knowing Anywhere Auctions truly provides a safe and secure bidding environment.
Buying property with a second buyer or on behalf of another person/entity
You can also purchase a property with a second buyer or on behalf of another person/entity. When registering to bid, you’ll have the opportunity to nominate how you would like to purchase the property if you are the successful buyer.
As the primary registering party, you will be able to place bids during the auction and execute on the contract of sale electronically on behalf of the person/entity you are purchasing for. If you had nominated that you are buying along with a secondary buyer, they will be able to sign the contract of sale electronically as well. To maintain the highest level of security, a nominated secondary buyer will also have to complete a registration for the property, including ID verification. A second credit/debit card pre-authorisation will not be required as the secondary buyer cannot bid on the property directly.
